Websites for trades businesses
Customers look you up before they call. I build you a clean website that works on phones and shows your work, your reviews and your number, so they ring you and not the next one on the list.
£149 one-off. No monthly fees. You own it.

The problem
Most trades get work from recommendations. But even when someone's been recommended to you, they usually look you up before they call. If there's nothing to find, some of them call someone else.
Photos of finished jobs do more selling than anything you could say. Without a website, they're buried in a phone camera roll.
Rightly or wrongly, people trust a business with its own website more, especially for bigger jobs like bathrooms and boilers.
A Facebook page or directory listing is rented space. A website is yours, with your name on it, and no competitors listed next to you.
What you get
A one-page website, built around your business and finished in about a week.
A sample site

How it works
I make a draft of your homepage using what's already on your Google listing. It costs nothing, and there's no obligation.
Photos of your work, your services, the areas you cover and your hours. A logo if you have one.
Within 5 working days. You look it over and tell me what to change.
You pay once you're happy. I put it on your web address and hand over all the logins.
Prices
You pay once, and the website is yours.
Live within 5 working days of getting your details.
Only with a website. Done in the same week.
Your only running cost: your web address (domain), usually about £10–£15 a year. It's registered in your name and you pay the domain company directly, not me.
Changes after the first 30 days: £15 for a small change, or ask me to show you how to do it yourself.
Questions
Yes. Your web address is registered in your name, the site is set up on an account in your name, and I hand over all the logins. If we never speak again, it keeps working.
Not from me. The only ongoing cost is your web address, usually about £10–£15 a year, paid straight to the domain company. I set the hosting up on a free plan, and I'll always tell you before anything would cost money.
Nobody can honestly promise that, and you should be wary of anyone who does. I'll set it up properly so Google can find it, with your trade and towns in the right places, and link it from your Google listing. Where you appear also depends on Google, your competitors and your reviews.
Photos of your work (phone photos are fine), what services you offer, the areas you cover, your opening hours, and your logo if you have one. About 15 minutes of your time.
Up to 5 working days after you send your details. You see it and can ask for changes before it goes live.
A draft of your homepage, made from what's already on your Google listing, so you can see what you'd get before you spend anything. If you don't like it, that's the end of it.
I'm Gabriel Miller, and I started Polished in 2026. You'd be one of my first clients, which is why the first three get their website for £99 in exchange for honest feedback. I won't pretend to have a big list of past clients.
By bank transfer, once you've seen the finished site and you're happy with it, before it goes live on your web address. You'll get a simple invoice.
In England. Everything is done online and by phone, so I can work with trades businesses anywhere in the country.
Tell me your business name and town. I'll send you a draft of your homepage within three working days. No obligation, no hard sell, and I won't add you to a mailing list.
